The SAYFC Can’t Beat Love Awards Night is almost here! As in years past, the judges have been so impressed with the quality of the entries and the obvious hard work that went into making these films — especially with such a difficult topic as Teen Trafficking. Every submitting filmmaker should be very proud of the work produced.
Throughout this process, well over 200 students have been educated about Teen Trafficking through their research and film making. We would like to extend this education to the greater student body and community. For Awards Night, we encourage you to attend as well as students, friends, families, and even student organizations like the student council who would benefit from an understanding of Teen Trafficking.
Awards Night promises to be great this year! We have host Amanda Weber of News4, we have a local dance team performing, as well as DJ Switchblade with great music and games. This year we will also have the ever-popular step-and-repeat for Awards Night pictures.
